Just this morning, Corps Members: Brandon Johnson, Kulap Vilaysack, Majeed Nami, Meghan Falcone, Peter Murphy, Samantha Morris, Scott Sonne, Sean Patrick Kennedy & Emily Maya Mills got their hands dirty at the Project Angel Food Garden.
We pulled weeds, mulched, planted squash & irises, and harvested eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes and peppers.
Check out all the pictures that were taken.

6/29/2012 - GREEN THUMBIN’: PART DEUX
Corps Members Kevin Pedersen, Grant Jornacion, Lauren Tyree, Charlyne Yi, Samantha Morris, Marlene Maginot, Jacob Reed, and Aubrey Bellamy were in full force at the Project Angel Food garden Friday morning. This trip was the second in what is now a permanent, weekly event for all Corps members to take part in. Our main focus this week was weed yankin’, and SPOILER ALERT for Friday, 7/6/2012: I hope you like fertilizer.
Garden maintenance happens every Friday, 10am - 11:15am. PAF provides water, knee pads, gloves and tools. Come on down, get dirty and watch the garden transform.

6/22/2012 - THE CORPS GOT GREEN THUMBS
Corps Members Kevin Pedersen & Kulap Vilaysack happily pulled weeds and laid mulch last Friday at St. Mary’s Garden in Koreatown. This is the first growing season of a former vacant lot/eyesore that will soon fill the pantry of Project Angel Food with fresh produce.
